About me

I am a Mother, a Dairy farmer and have a love of the arts and all things equine. In my past was a manager and a personal banker. I have lived in London and Greece and enjoy learning about other cultures. I am a compassionate, client-centred counsellor holding a Bachelor of Counselling and am a provisional member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC). I practise in accordance with the NZAC Code of Ethics and professional standards, including commitments to confidentiality, informed consent, professional boundaries, and ongoing professional development.

My practice is grounded in Te Ao Māori values, with Tiriti-informed and decolonising processes intentionally integrated throughout all aspects of assessment and therapeutic work. A straight ally of the Rainbow / LGBTQIA+ community, providing an affirming, inclusive, and culturally safe counselling space for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions, and relationship structures. I actively work to ensure safety, dignity, and respect, and to challenge assumptions, discrimination, and stigma.
